Kathy’s Personal Page. My life has been a journey filled with faith, family, and personal growth. My heritage is a mix of 49% England & Northwestern Europe, 30% Scotland, 7% Ireland, 6% Wales, 4% The Netherlands, and 4% Cornwall. As a woman who loves God deeply, I committed my life to Him in 2013. And since then, I’ve found strength and purpose beyond measure. I’m the fourth of four sisters, in other words, I am the baby and each sister is unique and strong-willed. And our bond shaped much of who I am today.

I’m blessed with a wonderful daughter and son, who have given me nine grandchildren. And now I enjoy spending money on them and save money doing it. And now, seven great-grandchildren who bring immense joy and pride to my life. Each chapter, from my early jobs to my current role, has taught me valuable lessons about hard work, humility, and resilience. Today, I find fulfillment in seeing my family grow and thrive, And knowing they carry forward the values and love that I’ve poured into them. Through it all, faith and family have been my anchor, my purpose, and my joy. Update: 07/12/25 I have another great granson.
About Me: Kathy’s Personal Page: Growing Up with 3 Older Sisters
Growing up with 3 older sisters was fun and sometimes challenging. That’s because we were as different as night and day. I was outgoing and a tomboy until I hit my teenage years. My oldest sister thought that she was the boss. The second to the oldest was the volunteer one, and the third one was a bookworm. Despite that, we are so different. we were very protective of each other.

Let me tell you about my children. My daughter was the first born and she was so beautiful and sweet. Then she became a teenager and boy was that a roller-coaster ride of a lifetime. She became a mom with 6 girls and a business owner and I am so proud of her. My son was my second and last baby for me. He was so handsome when he was born. When he became a teenager he was such an easy-going young man. He has three boys and not only is he working for a big company he also owns a catering business as well. I am also very proud of him.

I now have 7 Great-Grandbabies and I have a full heart. My oldest grandson was the first to make me a great-grandma with a beautiful; baby girl. Then a few years later he had a handsome baby boy and oh he wasn’t done, this year (2024) he had another handsome bouncing baby boy.
My second oldest granddaughter blessed me with a set of beautiful baby girls and said they were enough for her. She and my oldest grandson do not live in the same state as me so I don’t get to see them as much. Now my oldest granddaughter has blessed me with two beautiful girls. And I am lucky that she lives in the same town as I do so I get to see them more often. They range in age from 8 years to 3 mos.
Spoiler Alert: I Just found out yesterday 11/16/2024 that I am going to be a great grandma again!❤️
My Jobs
My first job was working at a doughnut shop, and I got sick of doughnuts. The second job was working at a printing company and I carried ink under my fingernails for the longest time. One thing that I did learn was never to put your fingers in an old fashion printing press, it hurts very much! The third job was with the laundry and dry cleaning business and I worked myself up the management by running 3 stores. And my current job is retirement and working part-time in groceries.

In looking back over my journey, I feel blessed beyond words. From my early days as the fourth child among three strong sisters to raising my own incredible children, each chapter has shaped me into the person I am today. Watching my children blossom into remarkable adults and having the honor of being a grandmother and great-grandmother is a gift I cherish deeply. Each of my jobs taught me resilience, hard work, and the value of humility. My love for God, family, and life keeps my heart full. Therefore I am grateful for all the moments, big and small, that have filled my life with love, laughter, and purpose. All I have to say now is I love “Theaghlach.”
